Life & Wellness Coaching
As a 14-year survivor of stage IV cancer, I’ve learned a few things about wellness and coping with the many stressors and fears that accompany a cancer diagnosis (or other serious medical diagnoses), especially while working.
I have specialized training and certification in mindfulness-based stress reduction, mental and physical wellness, medical and neuropsychology, pain management, and trauma-informed counseling and coaching for cancer survivors/thrivers. I’m a UCLA-trained licensed clinical psychologist with post-doc residencies in a variety of settings, including medical and health centers. Some of my clients prefer a more practical and active “coaching” approach to dealing with cancer and other serious illnesses. At the same time, some seek a deeper and usually longer psychotherapeutic approach (which is available for a limited number of California residents due to state of practice laws – as I’m licensed as a psychologist in California – and my waitlist).
